2020/07/08 Information Photonics 2020 (IP’20) Covid-19 update

The Chairs and the Local Organizing Committee have decided to make the Information Photonics 2020 (IP’20) a mixed format (solid & virtual meeting). Our decision is based on continuing uncertainty concerning COVID-19 travel restrictions and the safety and health of international communities.

The dates of the conference and overall schedule will remain the same, September 11-12, 2020. Authors must present their paper, either by live virtual presentation or prerecorded video followed by live discussion. There is no cost to participate as attendees and contributing authors presenting an oral talk or poster.

We expect to finalize the mixed format for the conference program in the coming weeks. Once complete, we will send out a general announcement with the details of how papers will be presented and the reduced registration fee schedule associated with virtual participation.
2020/05/29 The paper submission deadline is postponed to June 15, 2020
2020/05/13 This IP'20 Conference will be held as scheduled. The health and safety of IP'20 attendees is always of primary importance, and especially so in our current environment. We continue to monitor health and travel advisories related to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and commit to being responsive amidst changing conditions. This includes two options: one is that we will keep the solid conference, and another is to hold the it in an all-virtual, web conference format. For the latter one, there is not cost to participate as attendees and contributing authors presenting an oral talk or poster.
